Comfortable bed, decent view (8th floor). Forough checked us in and was friendly and efficient, persuaded us to upgrade to luxury room which was worth the few extra dollars for the lounge access which meant we didn’t need to buy dinner. Will stay again when we travel through Gatwick.

I stayed for one night due to my flight being cancelled at the last minute. Despite the lateness of the hour and the number of people that needed to be checked in, Preeya and Touseef were calm, helpful and polite. The stay was short as I didn’t get settled into my room until 1am, but it was comfortable and quiet. Good choice of food at breakfast with polite and friendly staff. I would recommend a stay here, either before or after a flight.

Extremely comfortable room. King sized bed for one! Had an early flight to Italy so treated myself. Staff were extremely welcoming and hotel is smart without being pretentious. You feel comfortable in casual gear. Being able to walk through a walkway to the airport is a great bonus. Had a fabulous meal in Vivre the Italian restaurant on the podium level with a calamari starter and tagliatelle carbonara. I would rate the food very highly and the friendly and efficient service provided by waitress Deniz made my solitary meal more enjoyable. If I have an early flight from Gatwick I always try to start my holiday with a night at this comfortable, smart and convenient establishment.

Had a wonderful stay at Sofitel hotel. Special compliments must be made to the staff. Especially Justin and Forough who went out their way to ensure my family had such a great time. My children are wanting to come back asap which we will do. Thanks

Second time at the Sofitel in Gatwick, very convenient choice ahead of an early flight. Always confortable, clean and quiet rooms. Easy to forget you are in an airport. Great service from Samim at the restaurant and good food. Thank you very much, we will be back!
